From strategic to tactical: day in and day out, Century is there for us
KDA Holdings, Inc., a Marietta, GA-based design-build company, has been Century Solutions Group’s biggest client for some time. With sales offices in several markets and a regional office in Sacramento, KDA represents connectivity, procurement and strategy issues that only a firm like Century can tackle. With its hands-on approach, the multi-year relationship with KDA has been a win/win for both firms.
Strategic Issues
Managing a multi-state operation is not an easy one, according to Chip Nix, SVP, KDA Holdings, Inc. “As we do not have an onsite IT staff, we need assistance for both tactical and strategic issues.” Century provides long-term planning services to KDA. “They assist us with our budgeting, planning our infrastructure – they are a firm that plays the role of the consultant but then also carries us through to implementation.”

Operational Issues
When KDA had troubles with its last consultant, they did search out others to manage their day-to-day issues. Would they do it again? “Once the opportunity is put in place, the consultant needs to execute. We have not explored others as they support us in a timely and cost effective manner. Plus, we like the people. They are individuals you want to be around. They are trustworthy, easy to approach – and it’s not just Jeff, but the entire team.”
Needless to say, from KDA’s first impression (“Century got things done”) through today, Century has supported KDA’s IT operations with professionalism and competence. When they first moved into their current headquarters facility, KDA began to suspect there were issues with the original vendor. “We had lots of problems: system stability, reliability of the support staff, timeliness, and cost.” After engaging Century Solutions Group, these problems have not disappeared, but now they are being managed and dealt with timely and professionally.
