Good, old-fashioned service!

Jerry Glore and his team run a fast-paced operation. Downtime and other issues cannot be issues. Systems must be up and people must be productive. Prior to enlisting the services of Century Solutions Group, United Services employed a part-time IT manager. Ultimately, this individual moved on, referring Jerry and United to Jeff Wilder and his team. The rest, as they say, is history.

Problem:

Jerry’s production operation demands near perfect operation from their IT network, both servers and desktops. In the past, fixes have come through additional component purchases or near patches. Before Jeff and his team arrived on the scene, United Services constantly lost the link between the shop floor and the time control element. This created downtime, which in a production environment is a death knell.

Solution:

By redesigning United’s active directory and correcting some network cabling issues, Century is helping Jerry and his team to understand near 100% uptime. According to Mr. Glore, “the problem has not resurfaced.” In addition to solving this one time issue, Century provides monthly support to United Services. “In many cases, Jeff solves problems right over the phone. I don’t know what type of educational process he has in place, but the results are commendable.” Jerry claims that the Century team is always up to snuff on the issues of the day and makes sure that communication is a top priority. “They schedule their work around you.
